The Centre is strategically located at the heart of Kuala Lumpur.

Convex Malaysia Sdn Bhd, the operator of the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (a subsidiary of KLCC (Holdings) Sdn Bhd) seeks dynamic, committed and success-driven individuals to join our team in the following position:


Basic Function

To implement and maintain the Centre’s social media platforms and website enquiries and updates that assist to deliver a seamless customer journey and to promote the Centre, its facilities and services to achieve a profitable business mix.

Scope of the Position

Digital Marketing Executive reports to Head of Marketing and Communication and provides support in managing the audience’s sentiment and develops high engagement postings through social media channels, and updates information and handles enquiries from our digital presence.

Job Specification

The incumbent of this position would be expected to have the following competencies:

  1. Acts as the frontline community executive role for the Centre’s social media presence across all social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube).
  2. Contributes to defining the Centre’s voice and personality as a business and a brand to clients, stakeholders, and consumers.
  3. Develop and implement the social media calendar plan and digital marketing plan and provide consistent updates and measurement on its performance as well as audience sentiment and marketing positioning between its competitors.
  4. Monitor and collate data from social media platforms, websites and Google analytics for behavioral analysis to improve online engagement for leads generation.
  5. Capture compiling image, video, boomerang and other emerging apps tools to create visually engaging social content and to encourage members’ engagement with the Centre continuously.
  6. Engage with effective digital marketing partners and social media influencers to constantly recruit and retain a highly engaged community of consumers in order to achieve community size targets.
  7. Handle enquiries and feedback from our community members on social platforms and website enquiries with immediacy to deliver 100% response rates.
These may be demonstrated by:
  1. Strong knowledge of marketing mix, marketing concepts and demonstrate creative approach.
  2. A distinctive and engaging writing style; a passion for engaging emotions
  3. A bachelor qualification in mass communications or marketing or similar training.
  4. Strong knowledge of digital marketing (social media marketing and Google ad words).
  5. Strong knowledge of programs for creation of moving contents (including videos for social media platform consumption)
  6. Excellent communication skills and a strong team player
