Celebrate the Year of the Rooster with Happiness, Prosperity and Longevity

Traditional or modern, Chinese or international, set menu or buffet? The choice is yours this Chinese New Year (CNY) 2017 as the Centre celebrates the Year of the Fire Rooster with offerings of an exquisite seven- or eight-course set dinner and the ‘Fu’ ‘Lu’ and ‘Shou’ or Happiness, Prosperity and Longevity buffet packages, preceded by ‘yee sang’ (traditional CNY raw fish salad).   
Available from 1 December 2016 to 11 February 2017, private and corporate bookings for a minimum 100 pax and above can opt for the seven- or eight-course sit-down meal at RM1,968.21nett and RM2,201.41nett per table of 10 or, take the buffet route at RM219.21nett per person if their party is 300 pax and above.
Confirmed bookings made between now and 31 December 2016 enjoy an 8% discount so, book early to avoid disappointment!
This year’s offering features four traditional ‘yee sang’ choices of “Happy New Year” with fresh salmon, “Dual Happiness & Prosperity” with jellyfish and salmon, “Golden Symphony” with fresh salmon, abalone and gold dust and “Golden Year” with fresh ocean trout.
Guests can also look forward to the Centre’s famous ‘Chef Action Stations’ of local favourites such as wok-fried kway teow with seafood and garden sprouts, Penang popiah, deep-fried nian gao with sliced yam and sweet potato and Nyonya pan-seared mixed seafood, in addition to international dishes like Oriental chicken sharwama, roasted five-spice whole lamb and Japanese Teppanyaki hot plate and a selection of sushi.
To round off the meal, check out the ‘Sweet Dreams Achieved’ station and indulge in Mandarin surprise cake, baked mini-pear puff with lotus paste, chilled honeydew melon with pearl sago, Mandarin oranges, Nyonya kuih, fresh fruits, assorted CNY cookies such as “kuih kapit”, pineapple rolls, peanut cookies, almond cookies, green pea cookies, chicken floss rolls and “kuih bangkit” coconut biscuits, and more!
