Best In The World!

One of the principal gateways for travellers to Malaysia, the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) recently received several awards:
Best Food
According to http://www.traveller.com.au/, a leading Australian travel website, KLIA has been voted ‘best bet for great food’.

Next time you’re at KLIA make sure to leave enough time to fill yourself with many of Malaysia's tasty gastronomic delights. Kuala Lumpur is a city obsessed with food, the sort of place where hungry travellers can feast on roti chanai (flaky bread with curry sauce), or nasi lemak (rice with sambal, egg and fried fish), or mee goring (fried noodles), or just about any spicy, delicious dish you can think of at open-air hawker centres such as Jalan Alor.

Best Immigration
The Skytrax World Airport Awards (also known as the Passengers Choice Awards), ranked KLIA’s immigration service as best in the world, beating Hong Kong International Airport (ranked second), and Tokyo International Airport (Haneda) at third place.

The 2017 Awards were based on 13.82 million airport survey questionnaires completed by 105 different nationalities of airline customers during the survey period (July 2016 to February 2017). The survey covered 550 airports worldwide and evaluating traveller experiences across different airport service and product key performance indicators - from check-in, arrivals, transfers, shopping, security and immigration through to departure at the gate.
