Night Out In Kuala Lumpur!

Kuala Lumpur is a vibrant and lively nocturnal hub of bars, pubs and clubs, as well as swanky rooftop establishments. After sunset, the city comes alive with nightspots offering a lively and friendly ambience, classic and innovative cocktails, and amazing views of the Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC).
Whether you're looking for a laid-back lounge or a party, here are some of the best places to spend your nights in Kuala Lumpur (KL):
Sip on a signature cocktail and nibble on a delectable assortment of tapas, while the gentle breeze from the open windows adds a touch of cool to the sultry night. Located on the 33rd floor of Traders Hotel, SkyBar guests can relish the view of the gleaming PETRONAS Twin Towers, KL Tower and KLCC Precinct in one incredible vista. Excellent cocktails, a groovy dancefloor and a handsome crowd, SkyBar is the place to be, especially on New Year’s Eve where the fireworks display is truly a magnificent show.
Marini’s on 57
Marini’s on 57 rooftop bar is also the highest bar in KL – located on the 57th floor of PETRONAS Tower 3. Floor-to-ceiling windows with a glass roof, Marini’s on 57 offers a view that extends out to the KL suburbs and mountains in the distance. A short look up will also give guests a view of the tallest twin towers in the world. Indulge in some of the bar’s customised cocktails, tailor-made just for Marini’s on 57, by some of the world’s leading cocktail designers.
Troika Sky Dining
A combination of bars and restaurants overlooking the KLCC Precinct and picture perfect PETRONAS Twin Towers, Troika Sky Dining’s Fuego, Claret, Coppersmith and Cantaloupe, attract customers from all over the world.
  • Fuego is a resto-bar demonstrating a marriage of creativity and food; the delectable menu includes smoked quail eggs, snails with parsley in a jar, and a flask of bourbon encased in a book, to name a few.
  • Claret, a strikingly beautiful bar, resembling a high-end New York loft, is classy without pretention. Sip on some exclusive wines and enjoy the view.
  • Coppersmith inhabits the shadowed walkways between Claret and Fuego. It's small but stately. Uniquely, the copper bar is built facing the wall and is accessible to the odd patron who may fancy making his own drink, with the guidance of a bartender. The cocktails here look less like cocktails and more like works of art, each one topped with an edible decorative complement.
  • Cantaloupe is Troika Sky Dining’s main hall for fine-dining and wining. Helmed by Chef Christian Bauer, Cantaloupe offers a concise, haute menu with French, Italian, Greek and Spanish flavours evident in its dishes.
Heli Lounge Bar
The Heli Lounge Bar is the perfect spot to drink until the sun goes down. At dusk, Heli Lounge’s helipad area affords you a 360-view of one of the best sunsets in the city before segueing into a panorama of flickering city lights after dark. On Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays after 9.00pm, bottle service or a minimum spend of RM100 per person (around US$23) applies to access the helipad. During this time, there is also a strict dress code: no shorts or tank tops for men, and no flip flops.
Canopy Lounge Kuala Lumpur
Located on top of The Mayang Club, Canopy Lounge is the first Malaysian branch by UK-based shisha lounge and bar, Tiger Bay London. Catering to just about any clientele, it is fitted with a sleek open bar section with plenty of high stools and tables, Moroccan-style gazebos, an al fresco wooden deck, as well as a semi-covered lounge area overlooking the iconic PETRONAS Twin Towers. Visitors can enjoy a wide range of alcoholic offerings, premium cigars and shishas, as well as homemade desserts to satisfy late-night cravings.
