Urban Street Dining in the City!

Located close to the iconic PETRONAS Twin Towers, TAPAK: Urban Street Dining is Kuala Lumpur’s latest culinary venture. The brainchild of four enterprising individuals, Tawfique Roseli; Syed Izmir Syed Azmi; Mohd Khairul Anwar Che Aziz and Ezarnur Malik, TAPAK is Malaysia’s first food truck park.

TAPAK, which translated into English means “site” or “place”, gathers a combination of vendors selling different cuisines and food in the heart of the city. The park opens from 6.00pm to 12.00am on Mondays to Thursdays, 6.00pm to 3.00am on Fridays and 3.00pm to 3.00am on weekends.

Visitors of TAPAK can enjoy a variety of appetising yet affordable local and international meals – from boxing chicken, Sarawak Kolok Mee, tacos, churros, roti john cheese to coconut shakes, mystic mangos and Frappuccinos, among others. With close to 40 food trucks on their roster, each night sees a rotation of 10 to 18 food trucks to ensure there are always plenty of options for TAPAK regulars.

The area is able to accommodate about 250 people and is equipped with washbasins, portable toilets and a surau (praying area). On weekends, there is also live music for visitors to enjoy.

With the PETRONAS Twin Towers providing the perfect backdrop and amber strings of globe light bulbs hanging over a sea of foldout tables and chairs, TAPAK creates a casual yet enchanting eating experience for all.
