Increased Accessibility
  • AirAsia now flies direct to Nha Trang, Vietnam with daily flights from Kuala Lumpur, starting on 14 September. The route, operated with a flight code AK, marked the airline’s fourth route into Vietnam that would give guests a chance to discover the country’s hidden gem. 

  • Malindo Air launched a daily direct flight from Kuala Lumpur to Phnom Penh on 1 August. The new service will compete with other airlines operating flights on the route such as AirAsia, JC International Airlines and Malaysia Airlines.

  • Malindo Air has teamed up with Japan's largest carrier, All Nippon Airways Co Ltd (ANA), to connect its passengers with over 200 routes served by ANA. Malindo Air said ANA is the fifth addition to its inter-airline partners after Turkish Airline, Qatar Airways, Etihad Airways and Oman Air. The new bilateral interline agreement allows seamless travel with the convenience of a single reservation across both airlines' network. The partnership will also allow ANA passengers to tap into Malindo Air's growing regional network out of Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA). Currently, Malindo Air serves over 46 cities across 16 countries, including 13 airports in Malaysia.

  • Malaysia Airlines will resume services between Kuala Lumpur and Surabaya, Indonesia, starting 29 October 2017. Between October and March next year, the airline will offer four weekly flights using Boeing 737-800s.
