To continue engaging with the global business events community, the Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB) has introduced several new products and services in recent months :
For the incentives market, the latest Malaysia Like Never Before initiative has ‘reimagined’ five key Malaysian destinations – Langkawi, Georgetown, Kuala Lumpur, Mount Kinabalu and Kuching – to highlight their distinctive and yet unknown features to offer a fresh experience. Each (destination) comes with its own theme; such as ‘Party like never before in Langkawi’ and ‘Soar like never before at Mount Kinabalu’, and ‘Do’, ‘Stay’ and ‘Eat’ recommendations for the most unique and luxurious offerings.
Malaysia Twin Deal X (MTDX) Programme
At the same time, the popular Malaysia Twin Deal ++ (MTD++) launched in 2014 has been extended to Malaysia Twin Deal X (MTDX) Programme. Similar to its predecessor, MTDX’s two programmes, Deal 1 and Deal 2, provide value-added support for international corporate meetings and incentive groups and incentive rewards to their respective event planners.
With China among the top three markets for meetings and incentives, MyCEB China has introduced ‘WeChat’ to reach out to China partners more efficiently while simultaneously uplifting Malaysia’s profile. As industry partners have been found to be high users of ‘WeChat’, this application complements marketing goals to help market the country in China.

Meanwhile, international meetings and event planners looking at Malaysia have a new resource at their fingertips … an online venue directory listing the extensive choice of venues available across the country, as well as all the necessary details pertaining to each (venue).

Also now available online is MyCEB’s Meeting & Event Planners Guide e-book 2014/15, an easy reference and one-stop centre resource guide that will save industry partners and planners time and money when it comes to event organisation.
